Information Visitors Provide
Search Terms
When a name, county, state, or other lookup detail is entered into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Washington County Inmate Population does not keep a separate local log of those search terms on its own server.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read it, respond, and handle the request. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most websites, this site may receive routine technical information when a page loads.

- Referring website, when one is available.

This site links to jail rosters, sheriff pages, court resources, Kentucky Department of Corrections tools, federal locators, and third-party search providers. After a visitor leaves this site, the privacy notice and terms of the destination site control that activity.
Advertising and analytics partners may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure activity across different websites. That tracking occurs under their systems and policies, not under an official Washington County or Kentucky records system.

We do not sell personal messages submitted directly to us. Limited data may be received by the parties needed to operate the site and its services.

Kentucky public-record access is governed in part by the Kentucky Open Records Act, including KRS 61.872, but this privacy notice concerns data handled by this private site rather than records held by a public agency.
